Swallow Falls State Park-September 2013
This is home in all of it’s fall splendor. Shades of red, yellows, greens, and orange. Sherbet sunsets and a crisp chill in the air.
This is home. This is fall. And life is good.
I’m officially in love with photographer Lissy Laricchia.
She is pure magic…and she somehow manages to capture every bit of whimsy and mystery I’ve visualized every time I’ve read a Grimm’s or Lewis C. Carroll tale. I wish I could meet her and/or be a fly on the wall from start-when she’s gathering her thoughts, to finish-when she’s set the story, realized she got the shot she needs, and sits down to edit the final.
Her series of eerie shots in the woods and her bedroom series are reminding me of fall…and make me want to take a long walk and just get lost.
