This is home in all of it’s fall splendor. Shades of red, yellows, greens, and orange. Sherbet sunsets and a crisp chill in the air.

I’m officially in love with photographer Lissy Laricchia.
She is pure magic…and she somehow manages to capture every bit of whimsy and mystery I’ve visualized every time I’ve read a Grimm’s or Lewis C. Carroll tale. I wish I could meet her and/or be a fly on the wall from start-when she’s gathering her thoughts, to finish-when she’s set the story, realized she got the shot she needs, and sits down to edit the final.
Her series of eerie shots in the woods and her bedroom series are reminding me of fall…and make me want to take a long walk and just get lost.

Finally feeling like we’re settled in down here at the homestead even though there’s still a very long list of things to paint, clean out, and renovate entirely. Shopkeeping 101
While I’m in the midst of rebranding ceciliablue, I’ve managed to get new work listed in the shop (think Peter Pan and other inspirations).
More works coming and my list of prints just keeps growing as new ideas flood my head; I think I’ve finally accepted the fact that my brain will not shut off creatively…ever.
